This position is responsible to coordinate the production process and employees to meet daily and weekly schedules and to ensure optimal employee performance and maintenance of quality standards.


Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules within designated areas. Facilitate ORACLE transactions including clearances and closures of manufacturing jobs to ensure necessary record keeping; verify that batch records are accurate and complete. Provide on-the-job training and retraining to ensure that Electro-Mechanical Assemblers have sufficient knowledge of operating procedures and job responsibilities. Maintain communication with various departments including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Control, and Documentation to meet departmental objectives.


Provide assistance to Production Supervisor with human resource management to ensure optimal employee performance and selection. Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering to train work group and analyze new projects conducted within work area to provide recommendations for improvements in processes and procedures.


• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years’ experience in an electro-mechanical medical device production environment or a combination of post HS education and experience providing equivalent knowledge/skill.
• 1 year of previous experience in a leadership/trainer capacity.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide individual and group training for employees.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements and quality system standards.
• Knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate production equipment.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate personal computers and software programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Oracle GAM.
• Ability to participate as a team member in production area.
• Skill in providing guidance and leadership to work group.
• Ability to gather output data such as linearity, scrap, and yield information.
• Participate in teams to continuously improve (Lean) production processes or product quality.
